Protection through every stage of construction
Build the framelike it matters.
From the lumber package to the finished home, RezWood™ protects the frame through construction and beyond. The frame disappears behind the finishes. Its protection should not.

Protection begins
in the material.
RezWood™—ReZilient™ wood by design—is factory treated before it reaches the frame with a custom, water-based wood-preservation blend. The documented systems inhibit mold growth and resist fungal decay and subterranean termites—including Formosan termites—before the lumber is covered by sheathing, insulation, and finishes.
Designed around the wood
Water-based.
Mineral-centered.
RezWood™ is designed to preserve visible grain, familiar handling, and normal framing practices. The supplied GREENGUARD certificates identify 2200, 3300, and 4400 as systems tested with wood under UL 2818 for low chemical emissions. Low-emissions certification is product-specific; it does not mean chemical-free or zero emissions.
Mold
Protection begins in the material—not after growth appears.
Rot
Resists fungal decay that can quietly weaken wood.
Termites
Built-in resistance to subterranean termites, including Formosan termites, that often work unseen.
Fire
3300 adds E84 performance; 4400 is the code-driven FRT system.
Compare the documented protection
The same threat can call for a different treatment.
“Treated” is not a universal performance claim. The exact preservative system, exposure rating, and technical documentation determine what the lumber is designed to resist.
Mold growth
RezWood systems document mold-growth inhibition for the treated lumber. Conventional pressure-treated products vary, so mold performance should be confirmed from the exact product rather than assumed from the word “treated.”
Fungal decay
Both categories can resist decay when the treatment and Use Category match the exposure. Pressure-treated products remain available for ground-contact conditions that current RezWood products do not claim.
Wood-boring insects
Both categories can be specified for insect resistance. RezWood product and warranty language identifies the covered system, lumber, exposure, and listed termites; untreated wood remains outside that protection.
Fire performance
Preservative treatment is not automatically fire-retardant treatment. RezWood 3300 adds documented surface-burning performance but is not FRTW; RezWood 4400 is the code-driven fire-retardant system and must follow the documented assembly or application.

From start to finish protection
The frame disappears.
The protection stays.
A finished home can hide thousands of feet of structural lumber. RezWood™ puts protection into that material before it is covered—then good drainage, flashing, ventilation, drying, inspection, and maintenance help the whole building perform.
RezWood™ protects the bones of your building.
When RezWood™ is used throughout the framing package, the treated studs, plates, joists, and other structural members carry the documented protection—helping protect the parts that matter long after the finishes go on. Cabinets, trim, furniture, sheathing, and other untreated wood or cellulose materials remain outside that protection. Routine inspection is still a good idea because it can identify activity affecting materials that were not treated with RezWood™.
